I am pretty sure I am in love with my best guy friend. He has a gf, and he says they are doing "ok"- meaning pretty good, but not great. She is selfish, and wants him only for herself; she tries to direct his attention only to her, and doesn't trust him. I want him to be happy- but not with someone like her.

See-- they had gone out for a long time, she dumped him because of a misunderstanding, and then figured it out. He showed he was obviously interested in me that way, and we were going to go out in the future, but when she started talking to him again I backed off, seeing them flirt all the time. That's when she asked him out and he said yes.

I now find myself wanting to talk to him all the time, wanting to know if he's happy.. some ppl (including her) think I'm stalking him. A long time ago I couldn't argue with that, but now I just think I want to protect him, and be by his side. And I don't get to see him as much since he goes to another school. (Sorry it's so long.)

I'll simplify things you want more, I've got an e-mail. You both love each other, thats never the problem. The problem is that neither one of you knows HOW you need to love the other or even how you want to. Thats a choice you both make up for yourself. Right now sense he isn't even going to think about how he's loving you, and your over thinking how you love him, its going to be heck on you......That's the simple truth, to your dilema.....
