She shouldn't be having blood spots then... I'd call the vet first thing in the morning--she might have some type of infection going on.

UTI as in urinary tract infection. When you take her in, it's a good idea to catch a urine sample. Take her outdoors first thing in the a.m. on a leash. when she squats to urinate, catch some in a clean, shallow pan, like a pie pan. Pour it into a clean container, even a ziplock. The vet only needs about a teaspoon of urine. They will check for casts, crystals, bacteria, blood, and concentration (specific gravity). They should be able to tell if she has stones, or a bacterial infection. Some breeds of dogs are pre-disposed to UTIs. She's probably gonnna need a course of antibiotics and possibly even a diet change. Hopefully they'll script a few days of pain reliever as well as UTIs are incredibly uncomfortable. Hope this helps.

It could be a Urinary Tract Infection. I don't know how it works for dogs, but when my cat was peeing blood, it was because his urinary tract was full of crystalizing urine which was on its way to blocking his whole urinary tract and if I'd waited any longer to take him to the vet, it would've been alot worse and he wouldn't have been able to pee at all. It was caused from him eating cat food that didn't help prevent that (Nine Lives)...Switched to Purina One Urinary Tract Health kind. They probably have it for dogs too, but I'm not sure if dogs' tracts have the same issues as cats though. Take him to the vet. They can definitely tell you better than all of out YA guesses. Good Luck to your pooch!

Get your pet to a vet soon. Hematuria (blood in the urine) is commonly associated with urinary tract infection (UTI), especially if the infection is localized to the lower urinary tract or bladder. It could be something more serious like bladder or kidney stones.

Sounds like a UTI or kidney infection to me. Take your dog to the vet and get a urine sample to take in if you can.
If its a UTI only antibiotics can cure it, and if you let it go too long, it can cause many more problems.

Could be the start of something nasty. Taking the dog to the vet now could save you a lot of money later on.

She probably has a Urinary tract infection which can be very painful for her. She needs to see your vet and have this looked at as soon as you can get her in. She needs antibiotics to clear it up. It will not go away on it's own.

She might have a urinary tract infection, or mineral crystals from her kidneys passing with her pee which is making her bleed. Either way, get her to a vet, anytime your pet is bleeding when they pee it's never good.
