First paragraph: Thank them for the interview.
Second paragraph: Paraphrase some of the good points you discussed.
Third paragraph: One or two sentences on how you will fit into their company.
Fourth paragraph: Thank them again and look forward from hearing from them soon.
Also, it's good to mail a letter as well. It's something they can stick into the personnel file. Not many people do it and those who do are given extra consideration points. Even if you don't get this job, it could very well help with the next one.

Few paragraphs should do it - always follow up with an email/ letter at least 1-2 days after the interview has taken place...
"Thank you for taking the time to see me on (DATE). It was an honour to meet blah blah blah."
Dont repeat what your CV says or your qualifications etc..
Mention something they told you in the interview about the company which you didnt know - e.g. they hold regular training days every week or something which is relevant to each employee in their jobs and say how much that intrigued you and makes you want to be a part of the 'thriving, dynamic' company even more...or something like that.
& how the above or something else you (skills etc) you possess which will help the company move forward as well as how it can help you as an individual move onwards and upwards etc
Then finish off simply with you look forward to hearing from them etc etc ....and....
....GOOD LUCK! x

Reiko posted a good answer.
Make the letter, using WORD, and mail it.
If you have exceptionally good handwiting, write it.
emails, are too easy to delete. A real letter demands person attention.
is the job with 41 cents for a stamp?

Remember to keep it sample and something that will stand out to the interviewer. Sometimes, the interviewer isn't the one who views their mail, they make have a secretary or something like that.
Good luck with what your after and I hope that you get the position
