havent heard anything like that - its impossible.
What boosts metabolism is more muscle in body, water, healthy foods, exercise etc.

No, they reduce oxygen to your entire body, so you use less calories. That is a reduction in your metabolism.

i suppose in some people it might, but smokers are known to have more belly fat than non-smokers. so it may speed up your metabolism but has it's bad effects as well
