Depends...
Do you have a problem with alcohol? Do you have experiences that suggest even one sip of wine leads you to drink to the point that you behave immorally? My brother is a raging alcoholic...once he starts drinking, he doesn't stop until he's "under the influence"...and when he gets drunk enough, he lies, cheats, steals, and endangers other people by driving his car. If he was sipping on some blackberry wine, I would label it a sin.
On the other hand, I don't have a problem with alcohol. Sipping one glass of wine doesn't make me crave another one until I polish off the bottle and drive down to the store at 1 AM for another after stealing the money for the bottle from my son's piggy bank! If I was sipping some blackberry wine, I wouldn't call this sinning.
Which one are you? You don't have to tell me, but God knows whether you should drink and if you're honest, so do you! Try examining your experiences and asking God what he thinks...he'll show you the answer that's right for you.

The wine is wine and not a sin. It is how you think about the wine or how you let it use you, instead of being a clear vessel for God to bring good things to you and through you for others. So if you love the wine and must have a glass every night, then you are a slave to it and obey it rather than God. If you like the wine and don't care if you have it or not and most of the time would prefer not to, then you are on a better track.

Bella S, so if Frenzy is saved, she can do everything she wants? I don't think it is that simple. It is a common mistake to think that since someone accepted Jesus as his/her savior he/she is allowed to do anything and that's OK.
Well, Frenzy, you are not sinning. I am drinking a hot cocoa right now and I can experience the same kind of pleasure. The pleasure a beverage can give you is not a sin at all. It becomes a sin, when you get addicted to it. Everything we do exaggeratedly is a sin and that is alcohol, drugs, food, sex, games, even religion (when the person becomes too fanatic and neurotic about it).
Moderation is the key... Go for it!!
Peace!

No, in my opinion you are allowed to drink...but not too much if you are slurred and will not remember this tomorrow, then yes. Being drunk is a sin because the things a drunk does most likly are not glorifying to God. But even Jesus sipped wine.

Not according to the bible. It condemns drunkenness, not drinking alcoholic beverages in moderation.

If your not saved then I doubt that you have to be worried about drinking alcohol...that is the least of your worries.
