This is hard, so be patient.
1. Try addressing the problem at home. If its a matter of younger siblings making noise, your folks are probably tired of the noise too. See if you can't help by getting everyone to quiet down. If it's your folks making the noise, this is harder, but try to gently explain your feelings to them. Don't whine, but make sure your are heard.
2. Now is the time to beg your friends to let you spend the nite. Get them to talk to their parents. I did this all the time when things got tough at my house. If your parents aren't into letting you go, have your friends parents speak up on your behalf. Adults get embarrassed when other adults step in. It works.
3. Try talking to the school counselor, but tread lightly. You think your having a bad nite now, but living in a group home is no joke. Just remember, you don't have to tell everything you know. Try to stick to just the problem you need solved so you don't scare the hell out of someone who can make your life even worse if they don't understand what's really going on.
Hang in. It's hard to hear this, but others of us have been there too and believe it or not, it does get better eventually.

Put ear muffs on with your own noise that you like to hear and set the level to your own liking. I always use a fan or noise from the window air conditioner to help me to sleep. It also blocks noisy frogs, dogs, crickets and so on.
Good Luck!

talk to your choir teacher. if you need outside help she'll be able to point you in the right direction. for real problems sleeping, go to your local health food store. they'll be able to recommend something natural to help you sleep. hope it helps, di.
