I am an American. I live in Ohio. I am planning to travel to Windsor, Canada on the 16th of November. I will be driving. I am wondering if any of you know if I need a passport or can I get in with a driver's license and a birth certificate? All information would be GREATLY appreciated! Thank you all soooo much in advance!

Land and sea border crossing only need a drivers license and birth certificate. Although passports were suppose to be required next year, the experience of trying to keep up with new passport demand has meant postponement after postponement and passports wont be necessary until 2009. Unless they postpone it even later.
