most of them are illegal and the worst of it is...they get paid in cash! they dont paid taxes and when i ask the manager if i can get paid in cash he says no.
im pissed off about this what can i do?

I'm not going to report them......they're very hard working and nice people....but the cash pay disturbs me. we're doing the same work but i have to pay taxes? come on now wheres the justice

They are just here seeking the oportunity to have a better life for them and their children, you probably get paid more than they do anyway; just ask them and you'll see (which is kind of unfair if you ask me). If they haven't bother or mess with you why would you have to report them or anything? Have a good heart and give them a little chance of living a better life, because you probably have 100 times a better life than they can ever have, and you've had that life all your life. All they want is to work and give their children better oportunities. What's wrong with the world today, don't you people have feelings and a good heart? This is unbelievable. Don't you think that their children would be left alone if they get sent back to where they came from? I hope you find in your heart the answer to do the right thing. Just think this, if you were illegal in another country and you were trying to make a living for you and your family, how would you feel if you got sent back to your country ( which BTW is in poverty and you lived in poverty back there), and you had to leave your children behind without anyone to care for them?
I hope you find your answer and you have a good heart.
EDIT: ok, then. Do they even get pay what you get pay? I know that a lot of them get pay WAY below the minimum wage. If so you shouldn't be complaining. And if they get pay fairly then I don't really know what else to tell you, other than talk to your boss again. I know we all pay taxes and all, but we get a lot of benefits being legal in here. Like we can have medical insurance, and they don't, hence they have to spend a lot of money if they do get sick. I'm not trying to defend anyone here, but just think about it. Anyway just talk to your boss again and see what he tells you, tell him about the taxes and ask him that if maybe he could raise you pay. Remember that working legally, it's always better than working illigally, you get benefits, and portion of what they cut in your check goes to when you retire.

First find another job, then turn your former boss into the IRS, being catering is a cash business, and paying under the table is a no no. You can always file a claim with EEOC for unfair labor practices, I am sure by hiring illegals it is a unfair labor practice. The you can call the health department and see if he as met all health and safety requirements. The how about the state licenses dept in your state to see if he has all the proper licenses for a catering business.

here is what I would do, if you want to get a little money out of this.
first call the social security office and ask if they are still give awards for help to locate people not paying social security and with-holding tax. They used to do this.
if they aren't, hang up, and don't use your phone or a cell phone, they do have caller id that records the numbers even if you try to dial blind.
you can't call INS or whatever it is not called as they don't take calls, but call the boarder patrol, as they do take calls and they will assist you. Expect to be fired anyway,
Now if the social security office is paying a reward, give them the info and be patient, may take a few months.

Is it common to have a lot of illegal aliens in food service. Yes.. and because the generally work without a food card, it is very, very dangerous. The question I would ask you is.. does your catering service supply the Airlines with their food?
You can report it to the Immigration Authorities. Regardless of who is eating the food, it is dangerous to use illegal aliens to do that job... particularly.

Call your state wage and hour board or similar agency. Report your employer for breaking the law. If more Americans would do that we could level the playing field.

You can call the INS and report them but this is very common in food places. Often they are doing the jobs like dishwashing that no one else wants to do.
