Yeah, because we always forget to pray for a million
after tax dollars!

Praying for money (or anything for that matter) is just hoping. Sorry you need to actually work for it.
Oh and BTW Money is not the root of all evil, the 'love' of money is. Money itself is just a piece of paper. Try living without it though! Oh and if churches really believed that money is the root of all evil, why is it that they are always wanting a hand out or donation or even pass a plate around like beggars?

Depends on what the reason you are praying for a million dollars. Depends on God's answer. Sometimes He answers "No" to our requests because to say "Yes" would do us more harm than good.

I assume that prayer works in much the same way as magick.
Magick works best when you can really focus on what it is that you want, when you want it for the right reasons, and when that want is coupled with a great deal of intent and effort.

No because we are told it won't work if we want to use it on ourselves.
If, for instance, we pray for something for the "Lar" in Brazil, a children's home, it has worked.
