I swear im not happy unless i eat. I dont just eat when im hungry. I eat when im bored, upset, mad,etc. I try to control it but its hard and im not very motivated nor do i have much self control.......Any ideas???

You beat this like most addictions. You do it little by little and day by day. It's going to take work, discipline and thought. Make a routine and follow it. Deviate as little as possible. Get up the same time each day. Eat at the same time each day. Go to sleep...etc. A routine will "imprint" a habit of behavior which will help re-enforce your resolve to eat more appropriately. Exercise will help as well. Share this with a supportive friend or group. Get help. Help others. Enjoy your life.

Don't feel like the lone ranger! You aren't the only one who feels this way. I have ladies coming into my office all the time tired of being this way. The key is to get active and start doing things outside of the house. Get busier so that you think of other things. When people first begin exercise they are sluggish and kind of blah, this is because of the foods they keep in their system. After they let up a bit, and start coming in consistent they begin feeling better, and actually become addicted to exercise!
I'm not saying that the love of food goes away, but it can be controlled. Many times any addiction needs to have something put in it's place. I've always loved sweets, and probably always will, but the craving has to be controlled. We eat to live-not live to eat. We control our foods, they shouldn't control us.

keep alot of granola bars in the house, all sizes and types..fruit, lowfat, diet, cereal bars, etc., Plus alot of skim milk. When u get the urge to eat go through the bowl and pick out one or two.

Do some excercise instead of eating. Im becoming anorexic cause i had the same problem
