It depends on who you ask. If you ask a Jewish person, they are the children of God because they are the children of Abraham through his son Isaac. On the other hand, if you ask a Muslim the same question, they would argue that they are the children of God because they are the children of Abraham through his other son Ishmael. A Christian will argue that they are the children of God because they have become adopted children of God through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus.
In reality, we are all children of God because he created us all and has called us all to live our lives with him. Our job is to realize that fact and find ways to overcome the divisions we have created with each other.

Only awful lawful God on high has "children".
In the beginning God said let us make "man".
A man puts away childish things: 1Cor 13.
Laws are childish and devilish things.
Pst: Children and Servants differ nothing: Galatians 4
Both need to be told what to do-teronomy & don't-eronomy.
Neither of know nots seem to know what their master doeth.
POINT: Grow up. Grow in grace, for law<--law stunts growth.
The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

everybody's the children of God... It's just alot of people don't realize it. or they want a more "simple" answer like a "big bang" and a perfect sphere(earth) just forming and millions of diverse organisms being created by bacteria and just popping out of thin air....
The ones who follow God and Have him in their hearts and ask for forgiveness go to heaven.
