my skin is pretty dry year-round, but in the winter it gets INCREDIBLY worse. what the best brand of lotion to buy at like a target or walmart and what kind?

Look for cream instead of lotion, they are more concentrated. Neutrogena has some creams that are specially made for really really dry skin. Unfortunately, they smell not too great... but try too look for creams. The best time to put them on is after a shower to lock in the moisture!

Aveeno. The "oatmeal" kind in yellow bottle (don't worry, it has no resemblance to oatmeal). No perfumes, etc. Skin stays nice all day.
