I'm sorry, I know you said you didn't want anyone to tell you not to do it, but I have one thing to say: Please think about this, and how it will affect people around you. Somebody I loved very very very much ran away last year for a long time and it was so awful for me and his family, we were all miserable.
Please just think about that. Good Luck, I hope you make the right decision for yourself.

Well you seem to have all the answers and at 14 you have none. Running away to where? Because you're obvious choice is living on the streets and that's a kiss of death. Whatever your situation is there is someone who can help you before you do something that is life threatening. And no it isn't legal for any child under 18 to live on their own. Work with your school counselors, a church even if you don't belong, juvenile centers, or a close friend or relative of your family who understands your situation. But if you just hit the streets, you will never survive. Think smart, think twice, and find a right answer, not a flight answer.

illegal.. you're still very much a minor. your parents have every right to track you down and drag you right back home again. this can be easily avoided by thinking of a better way to escape your problems. if there actually was a destination for you, you probably would have known that already. think twice about blindly and blatantly running away. maybe you've been watching too many movies or something, but there's no oliver twist refugee house around the corner. i advise staying with a friend or someone else you know.. maybe move in if your heart desires. asking where you can run away to? that just shows immaturity on your part.

It's not legal. I would talk to a school councellor or something about the problems at home. Being 14 kind of prevents you from getting a job or having a way to support yourself. So if you look at it that way you are out of luck. So your best bet is probably to work out the problems. It will make you a stronger person anyways, if you look at it on the bright side. Good Luck

Whatever it is you're running away from, you take with you. At 14, while it seems to you that you're ready to face the world, you're not. Really.
If you have legitimate reasons to run away, such as being abused, or something along those lines, you have reasons to report that abuse to the authorities.
If you do decide to run away, it would be good to have a destination in mind where you are confidant that you will be taken care of.

I think "running" away is always a bad idea. That being said, if you have "serious" problems at home, go to a trusted adult, a teacher, doctor, friend, minister, someone who can help you run to something, not away from something. You could even find a lawyer to help you, there are legal ways of dealing with the situation you are in.
Running away, you could find yourself in a worse situation, even something deadly.

Im sorry, I don't live in america so not too sure what charities you have but I think its really worth giving the samaritans a call, and maybe talking to someone at school or even going to your GP or local police station. I can understand you may have problems, but sleeping rough, having no money for food, not being able to wash, having no bed, leaving education, hiding and begging aren't that easy either. Good luck xxxxx

You are not an idiot! However, I worry for your safety, there are so many bad people out there waiting to prey on the young and innocent, whether you are a male or female is of no consequence to some of these pedaphiles in the world. Is there something so bad, that you could not talk to your parents or another trusted adult or teacher, to remedy the problem? I wish you the best!

Where the hell are you going to go? I'm not questioning your reasons, I'm questioning your rationality. You're a mixed up naive child, no matter how mature you believe yourself to be.
However, if you insist on running away, make sure you have a friend's house where you can stay. Don't just expect to live out on the street. You have to consider that your parents are going to have a heart attack when they realize you've gone, and they should know that you're safe.

Well if you have good enough legitimate reasons to run away, then these reasons you should bring up to the cops. Running away from your problems is never a good thing. Go to your school and talk about it with your counselor.
