Just wondering cuz wehen you go to the Depot, there stores are clena but their personnel is unattentive.

Then when you go to Lowes the stores arent as "pretty" but I seem to think they are more professionally knowledgable than Depot.

Just wondering?????

Home depot is KMart. Take it from there.

Service - Lowes
Availability - Depot
Plants - Depot (Lowes looks like they don't water theirs enough)
Website - Depot (Lowes website always claims that the local store doesn't have much of anything in stock)

I prefer Lowe's. There is always someone there to help you. I can never find help at Home Depot. Besides, Jimmy Johnson is better than Tony Stewart.

I've shopped at both and have found Home Depot to be less expensive than Lowe's and I have never really had a customer service problem at either.

Just depends. Lowes is more of a decore store and depot has more construction supply. As for service, I work at Depot and I always keep it professional.

If Lowe's DOOR ALARMS don't go off practically every time you leave the store, like they do at my local Home Depot --causing the cashiers to come screaming after you (I usually ignore them), like you're stealing something -- then Lowe's is better than Home Depot.

neither of them. support your local independtly owned store. they will give you far better advice and you will find that their prices are not much different than lowes or home depot. i live in Canada, we have had home depot for many years and now lowes is here. they do nothing but support the chinese economy so needless to say they sell alot of junk. in Canada we have Home Hardware in the usa try something like a valu home centre

The Lowes in our area has better lighting and is easier to find what you are looking for. However that may change as they are building a new HD across the street from our new Lowes.

Its tough on a guy to have both less than a 1/2 mile from your home.

If you are lucky you can find retired craftsmen supplementing there social Security working in either and those are the one to ask for help.. the younger one know where to look for something.

We like Home Depot pretty well.
Lot of variety, no more costly than Lowes or etc...
God Bless.

In my area, I prefer Lowe's. However, it's really going to be the store that can supply what I need at the best price for the least hassle - and alot of times that ends up being a local hardware store, not the big chain store.
