In Cinema Pictures a portion would be reservsd for comedy.When viewers are watching tense scenes, just to give a little relaxation to them ,a bit of comedy is also shown.Like that in Mathematics,Physics,Chemistry,Biology sections ,people can not "Talk through their Hat" and get away with that.So many questions remain un-answered for a long time.Only in R & S-any Tom,Dick and Harry can talk anything they like and get away with that.Sometimes "Hopeless Answers" are voted as the "Best Answer".This seems to be the comedy section and it is why a lot of people interact in this section.

Humor is one of the blessings from GOD we can all share, and bond with. In the spirit of the question asked - people respond in kind.
What goes on here is thought in fluid form.
Mathematics,Physics,Chemistry have one logical outcome, a spirit can not be bound in same way.
I hope you are respecting the minds here in R&S, they have brought some major advances in ideas here, and they have the sense of the human condition and limitations to notice comedy is very important in a healthy life.
Cold logic never liftied a spirit - that's why people visit and stay here.

Some people do come here for serious questions and answers about the different religions of the world.
Some people get really emotional about their own personal beliefs, which is not surprising...and not all of those people are "believers"...some of them are atheists who get all bent out of shape because they think they are being "persecuted" (oh, my!).
And yes, some come here because they are looking for entertainment...usually at someone else's expense.
I guess comic is as comic does, eh??

There are a lot of serious question in R/S but it would be way to tense with out some comic relief.

There is a good mix of fun and serious questions. I think the fun ones keep me coming back more so than the serious ones.
