In the old Testament, The Triune God wanted the Jews to reject polytheism. God emphasized his "oneness" greatly, but didn't want to confuse the Jews who were in still "spiritual infancy" with his Triune Nature. God fully reveals himself in the New Testament, where God's people are now at a "college level" and are ready to recognize who God is.

This is a term that is used to attempt to describe the triune God, the fact that there are 3 coexistent, co-eternal persons that make up God. Understand that this is NOT in any way suggesting 3 Gods. The Trinity is 1 God made up of 3 persons. There is nothing wrong with using the term "Trinity" even though the word is not found in the Bible. It is shorter to say the word "Trinity" than to say "3 coexistent, co-eternal persons making up 1 God." If this presents a problem to you, consider this: the word grandfather is not used in the Bible either. Yet, we know there were grandfathers in the Bible. Abraham was the grandfather of Jacob. So don't get hung up on the term "Trinity" itself. What should be of real importance is that the concept that is REPRESENTED by the word "Trinity" does exist in Scripture. With the introduction out of the way, Bible verses will be given in discussion of the Trinity.

Surely there was no word TRINITY in their language, but used a similiar word, that meant triune, God of three in one.
BUt doesnt matter, it is still so. There are scirptures that say the Father is God, that Jesus Christ is GOd and that the HOly Spirit is God, Godhead is the title. there are three working together as one, with seperate purpose but all leading to the same goal.
and No the church of niadacia did not bring this in, they only saw truth and brought it back, after laying dead for a long time.
What God says is truth, and thats what we hear and obey.
ONce one even really understands about this triune God, they see that it makes such sense. Easy to believe and understand.
God bless you for the question..

For the same reason Jesus said the greatest commandment is the Sh'ma Israel, the same commandment that was the first one given by GD to Moses....because there is One GD in 3 stages of man's understanding.

Think of anything that has become a part of our conscience...First it is OUTSIDE OF US, someone else has that knowledge, lives by that code, has that experience or that sense.

Then it is BESIDE US....we hear it, see it, read it, experience something, learn the lesson that the teacher has taught us.

Finally, it comes INSIDE OF US. We have no doubt 1+1=2 because a teacher who knew it taught it to us, and now we know it to be true. We know an 8 pointed red and white sign in America means "stop" because someone designed it, and we were taught the laws and now we just know it, even if it did not say S-T-O-P in the middle of it (a red light means the same thing without the words).

GD appeared like that--first He was OUTSIDE of man...man prayed to Him, man listened to Him, was taught, led, disciplined etc by Him...but He was never seen by anyone face-to-face but Moses.

Then He appeared BESIDE US, as Jesus, walking and living, teaching us in ways that clarified the original laws. He fulfilled the prophesies of the Messiah ben Joseph so we knew it was Him, GD, appearing to us in the guise of man, so we could learn how to properly live.

Then, as the Spirit, He came INSIDE OF US, having already taught us, having fulfilled Scripture so we knew the Old Testament was valid, having brought the New Covenant/New Testament to being. It is why Jesus had to die before the Spirit could come. If it was a Trinity-a 3-person/3-creature being, Jesus could have existed along with the Holy Spirit.

OUTSIDE-BESIDE-INSIDE to a point where He is about to come again, and now man will change from the flesh to the spirit, over a course of 6,000 years...So who says a Messianic Jew/Christian does not believe in evolution? I believe that is the essence of the Bible--the evolution of mankind.

Because (i believe) that the PERFECT unity of the Father,Son, & Holy Spirit does NOT need our interpretation, and how it is written is sufficient.

Because after the Nicene Council decided on the Trinity, they rewrote the bible to suit their purpose. All of the bible passages have been changed to suit their agendas.
