According to both pro and anti-scientology sites, about 53% of scientologists are christians.
Quote from the scientology site:
“We of the Church [of Scientology] believe: .... That all men have inalienable rights to think freely, to talk freely, to write freely their own opinions and to counter or utter or write upon the opinions of others.... And that no agency less than God has the power to suspend or set aside these rights, overtly or covertly.” (L. Ron Hubbard, from The Creed of the Church of Scientology, 1954)
“For instance, although, like the Judeo-Christian religions Scientology affirms the existence of a Supreme Being and places the Supreme Being at the apex of its cosmology, like many Eastern religions, salvation in Scientology is attained through personal spiritual enlightenment.” Also from their website: “Scientology holds man to be basically good, and that his spiritual salvation depends upon himself and his fellows and his attainment of brotherhood with the universe.”
So basically, Christianity is doing a great job for people who want to turn their life over to Jesus, seek guidance from the church and the bible, and pray for changes in their lives.
Scientology agrees that there is a God but they feel that we are supposed to take more of a hand in our own salvation. They offer a lot of courses in things like better communication, better studying, shaking peer pressures, getting off drugs, etc.

Um...everything? ROFL Scientology describes itself as the "the study and handling of the spirit in relationship to itself, others and all of life." Prime among Scientology's beliefs is: "that man is a spiritual being whose existence spans more than one life and who is endowed with abilities well beyond those which he normally considers he possesses."The purpose of Scientology is "to know"; to achieve complete certainty of one’s spiritual existence and one’s relationship to the Supreme Being. In Scientology no one is asked to accept anything as belief or on faith, the tenets of Scientology are expected to be tested and seen to either be true or not by Scientology practitioners. "That which is true for you is what you have observed to be true."Other beliefs of Scientology are:
A person is an immortal spiritual being (termed a thetan) who possesses a mind and a body.
The thetan has lived through many past lives and will continue to live beyond the death of the body.
Through the Scientology process of "auditing," people can free themselves of specific traumatic incidents, prior ethical transgressions and bad decisions, which are said to collectively restrict the person from reaching the state of "Clear," and after that, the state of "Operating Thetan." Each state is said to represent recovering the native spiritual abilities of the individual, and to confer dramatic mental and physical benefits.
A person is basically good, but becomes "aberrated" by moments of pain and unconsciousness in his or her life.
Psychiatry and psychology are destructive and abusive practices.
Scientology practices are structured in sequential series or levels, reflecting Hubbard's belief that rehabilitation takes place on a step-by-step "gradient"; for example, that the negative effects of drugs must be addressed before other issues can be addressed. Scientologists follow a sequence of courses that culminate in the esoteric advanced strata of Scientology's teachings. This is described as a passage along "the Bridge to Total Freedom," or simply "the Bridge," in which each step of the Bridge promises a little more personal freedom in some particular area of life.
Scientologists believe that man is composed of three distinguishable parts: Mind, Body and Spirit.

L.RonHubbard (Sci Fi author) the founding father of Scientology , ackowledges Jesus as a individual and a instructor, that's all. the faith/cult, does not understand him as a savior or God, or the Holy Trinity. they do no longer have faith in heaven or hell in basic terms that they have got a spirit that has lived dissimilar lifetimes and their God is a few Xenu diety from outerspace.
