I don't believe you would be invited into their tribal affairs except in the incidences where they interconnect outside of their reservation. Reservations have their laws but many Chiefs and others take on roles outside of their reservations in order to impact issues they have. I have met Chiefs that have local and other government positions to move their issues along. If there are areas you think you can aid some of the poor reservations, I'm sure there are avenues for you to gain an inside but the reservations I've been privy to are quite wealthy.

Absolutely not. They have suffered enough interference from white Americans to last them a couple of millenia! If you have community problems that you feel are common to both native and immigrant Americans in your area then get it touch with the nearest tribal council and find out how they like to handle these things.

Tribal affairs = for tribe members
If you want to do something helpful, see about getting involved in habitat for humanity on a reservation or some other such thing you can donate your time to.

Why do Americans try to promote racial tension with such inane and crass remarks like, Afro American, Native American or indeed White American ? If you are American then that is what you are, you do not have to differentiate yourself with colour or ethnicity, In Europe you are English, French, Italian or any other, colour is immaterial.

As a native white American (yes, I was born here so that makes me just as native as any one else here) I would assume no.
For some reason they like to blame people today for something that happened hundreds of years ago. Apparently I am responsible for something that happened before I was born.

Depends. I live in So Cal where we a variety of casinos owned by them. It's my understanding they aren't really open to outsiders. But, this is what I was told, so I don't know it it's really true.
