I've kept butter and margarine in the freezer for over a year and it seemed fine. I wouldn't leave the beans in the can. Put them in a sealed plastic container or jar before refrigerating.

You can freeze margarine for quite some time. I'd try a nd us it within a year though. As for the can of beans, do not store open cans of anything in the fridge. Transfer it to an airtight container and use within 3-5 days.

you can usually freeze perishables for up to a yr after expiration date and yes you can for up to 3 days as long as you cover and store properly
