I know everything about how the music field requires endless practice and work, but I'm so concerned about feeding myself.

Sadly, the second-fiddle passion of mine is becoming a stage actor so if I minored in anything it would probably be theater.

Yeesh. I'm gonna live in a box, huh?

If you like Music, you can do an Associates degree in Liberal arts at a community college, and use your electives on music classes. Then you can transfer to a 4 year school and study whatever you want. If you do an entire Associates in music, most of your credits won't be able to transfer.

Ok.... Music.. How about teaching? Something where you could feed the music and make some money. Do the theater end, but, think on the teaching end. Just me. You have to have the demeanor for it. That's something only you can answer

Not necessarily. Just find something that you can pair with music that you like and where the job prospects are good. Like think about recording engineer, maybe video/film editing (which has a musical component). Or business.

It's possible to do both music and acting. How successful you will be at doing both will depend on you energy and drive to achieve what you want.
