We choose hell. God has chosen to give us life if we want it. If we reject it, and Him, how is it His fault? Funny how we blame everything on Him. Even our own actions and choices. Besides, those "thrown into a pit of fire" are not His children.

The believer's instructions before leaving earth says: That GOD is love, HE also said that HE loves the world that only HE created that HE sent his only SON to live and to die for the wrongful things that HIS creation(Man
had done because there was no other way for Mankind to establish a relationship with the Creator(GOD) almighty so I would agree to what GOD says the HE (GOD) is in fact love! Fonzie

Everyone like so to ignore the fact that God is love AND God is Holy! This one fact makes it impossible to just ignore sin and someone must pay for those sins. The only one that could and did pay was his son Jesus, the fact he loved us enough to put his son through that definitely proves the love and the need to do it the Holy! It is our choice in the end though....
I think the contrasts are pretty dramatic.... believe in God and accept Jesus as lord and repent and the sins are paid for...

God is love but He is also Just. What He says, goes. Like it or not, but that is the way it is. It is eternally important to make the decision about God. You are not God. He loves you, but He will let you go if you do not tell Him you want to be with Him in eternity.

God does not throw us into a pit of fire. We choose who we want to serve.

As parents we punish our children for their poor choices, our God will punish us for our poor choices. He still loves us but understands that you cannot do something wrong and not be punished for it. This is where repentance becomes the most beautiful gift God has given us. WHen we are truely repentant God forgets the wrong things that we have done. He still loves us and still wants us to be in heaven with him.

As I answered in a pervious question, that is one of the main questions that drove me from Christianity. It just makes no sence for an all knowing, all loving, all powerful God to punish you for all time just for using the free will that He knew you were going to use before He even created you.

God won't force anyone to be with him in heaven. Therefore those who don't want to be with God in heaven, spend eternity without God in hell.
Hell is more than a "fiery pit", it is spending eternity without God.
The angels and saints tell God in heaven, "Thy will be done"
God tells the sinners in hell, "Thy will be done". God bless!
