Locate a small branch. Dip the branch in flammable liquid, then light branch with last match, you now have a torch to light your way.

gather up some pitch and other dried twigs leaves and put them into a pile, light the match and touch it to the leaves and include the match box for extra burn material. You'll have light to see and fire to keep you warm
