Hate is a strong word. Almost as strong as the aroma your nostrils will gather during your first visit to the restroom, after a delightful serving of asparagus.

I would recomend that you get involved in the preparation and cooking process. Get to the point that you are excited about what you are cooking, excited to try it.

There are so many ways to dilute the taste of vegetables, many will cancel out the healthiness of produce. I would recommend taking aparagus and boiling half of a bunch.

Cut the bottom stems off and leave about 3-4 inches of the tops.
Rinse for a few seconds and throw in boiling water.
Take a fork and poke at the asparagus about 8 minutes in.
(You don't want them soft, but you don't want them crunchy)
You'll get it how you like it.

Drain the water and rinse will cold water.
Put 1/4 TBSP of margarine in the pan and roll around the asparagus until they absorb the butter.

Now nice and hot, pull em out and toss some shredded cheese on the top. Blammo!

Take it easy with the cheese, you creep.

Enjoy with a pork chop and red potato.

Wham.

Now, I gotta go check my pork chops and pasta.

Just add them to salads with a light dressing. You can basically put all of your servings of veggies into regular meals if you hate them raw, and it can still be healthy. For example, tomatoes (not sauce but actual diced tomatoes) and spinach in your pasta, cucumbers and sliced onions in your salad, celeri carrots and peppers in your chilli, and basically any vegetable in your sandwiches. You can also treat yourself to celeri with low-fat cream cheese in it!
Be careful which dips you use if you use some, lots of unexpected calories! Tzatziki is good if you make it at home, you know what goes into it.

put some kind of dressing on them or cook them with other ingredients. Example: broccoli and soy sauce. Or if you want it raw then add some melted cheese on it. It all depends on what you think might taste good with it. Well good luck with that

Dip them in something that you like. Yogurt, peanut butter, low fat dressings, sugar free sauces, low fat cheese sauce.....

Your options are only limited by what you can and will eat. Experiment with sauces and dressing to see what you like, personally speaking I love poppyseed dressing on almost any veggie. Mustard vinagrette is good on dark leafy greens.

If you aren't trying to lose weight and don't care how much sugar you use maple syrup is yummy on carrots.

Don't be affraid to experiment, you might find that you like barbecue sauce on your celery.

Cut down on sugar and salt in your other foods, it'll help you taste the veg properly if you find it bland. Also you could toss them with spicy dressing of some kind. Otherwise, remember that it takes an untrained palate about 18 tastings to get used to a new food, so be patient.
