In order to accept Him we have to Believe that He is the Son of God, that He died for the sins of the world. You cannot accept what you have not believed into I think sister. Our believing is our actual receiving of Who He is. Out from that believing comes our confession. When we call upon the Name of this One we are saved. He is rich to those who call upon His name.

You have to make a decision to believe, then repent (turn from) your sins, confess that Jesus is the Christ, Matthew 16:12-14; Matthew 10:32, and be baptized (a Greek word meaning immersed), Mark 16:16, Colossians 2:12 (symbolizes Christ's burial and resurrection); 1 Peter 3:20-22, as Peter said during the first sermon:
"Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." Acts 2:38.
Not only that, your name will be written in the Book of Life. Revelation 20:10-15.

it is to be the leader of ones life when they recieve as best as they now how
and I as a Jew by birth coming to Jesus answering someone that claimed to be Christian and become 'Jewish' pray for her=and about one of your answers this is how i answered the asker of that question too=You are a precious person truely loved by the Messiah of Israel
The point is the gentile that come to the Jewish Messiah is not required to study and practice Judaism laws-one of which if you carry money one the Sabbath you are as a Jewish person to be stoned to death along with wood or lighting a fire too.
I am a Jew, and I can tell you you didnt convert to Judaism nor were you ever a follower of the Messiah which is what Christian means be a person Jew or gentile born, you simply were and are part of religions-if you go in a garage that doesnt make you a car.
If you dont believe Moses and Isaiah you are following a religion that was made up when the Temple was destroyed because there was no blood atonement commanded by God through Moses.
Leviticus 17:11 The life of the flesh is in the blood and I have given it upon the altar to make atonement for your souls.
reading from the Hebrew or the orthodox Mazoretic text=
Isaiah gave the fulfillment of this in the Mighty God that was to be the son given the child born and the prince of peace Isaiah 9:6
Isaiah 52:13-53:12 Says he would be exaulted but first marred more than any man and lay down his life despised and rejected to make atonement for our sins.
Yet you are a person and just as important to the Messiah as anyone else, that is why he says he knocks on your heart door to come in, forgive sin and be your friend= Revelation 1:1 chapter one verse one and 3:19&20 where messiah says he loves everyone and asks us to repent of sin and ask him in to be our friend and help us.
as promised from the coming new coventant to know God personally Jeremiah 31:31 and following
best wishes to you and peace shalom in His care the Messiah who is here, David the sweet pea

Even the devil has mental knowledge of Jesus as the Savior ("belief"), but the difference is made when you actually accept Him into your life. There is no short-cut in salvation. You either accept Him or you reject Him.

Well,if you believe he is your Savior, then aren't you accepting Him as that? To recieve salvation, yes you have to accept Him but you also have to believe that He died for your sins and to save you from a life in Hell. You have to have faith in Him and truly trust in Him that he has died on the cross for you and will give you eternity in Heaven as long as you live your life for Him. Good luck, I hope that answered your question and is able to help you.

I don't know I'm not the Judge, but He clearly made Himself to be God and the Savior not just one so to claim otherwise would be making Him a liar.
John 3:17 "For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him."
John8:58 "I tell you the truth," Jesus answered, "before Abraham was born, I am!"

Believing is not enough to warrant salvation. John 1:12 tells us: “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.” A true Christian is indeed a child of God, a part of God’s true family, and one who has been given new life in Christ.

Baptism should not be repeated. You must repent for your sins to find salvation again. Ephesians 4:1-5 I, then, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to live in a manner worthy of the call you have received, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another through love, striving to preserve the unity of the spirit through the bond of peace: one body and one Spirit, as you were also called to the one hope of your call; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; Hebrews 6:4-6 For it is impossible in the case of those who have once been enlightened and tasted the heavenly gift and shared in the holy Spirit and tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, and then have fallen away, to bring them to repentance again, since they are recrucifying the Son of God for themselves and holding him up to contempt. Hebrews 10:26-27 If we sin deliberately after receiving knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains sacrifice for sins but a fearful prospect of judgment and a flaming fire that is going to consume the adversaries.

If we don't claim Jesus He won't claim us before God. in other words if we don't claim Him as Savior He won't save us. The choice is ours. He is not forcing it on us.
