Payday is up to your employer. My last job paid every other Friday for all work done up through payday. My current job pays on the first of the month for that month -- yes, we get paid in ADVANCE! (I started in the middle of the month and was expecting 2 weeks pay and was SHOCKED to be paid for 6 weeks!)
