Breakfast is your main meal of the day. Not only does it give help with your energy level through out the day, it's a great wake me up. Eating a healthy breakfast is also important. Some people, like the older generation (my grandfather for example) always ate a big breakfast (eggs, meat, toast, etc.) while the other because of his health ate a big breakfast of another nature (healthy cereal, toast, oj and coffee). What you is up to you but it has to be something substantial in order to fill you up enough to last until lunch. If you don't have much time in the morning, fruit, cereal, with a glass of oj and tea should work. Also, a hint, keep a breakfast bar if you start growling before lunch. There are Nutra Grain bars that aren't 1/2 bad and it's what I eat in between meals. The apple ones are great.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

I had the same trouble when I was in school. After some experimentation, I found that a bowl of hot cereal, such as oatmeal or cream of wheat was pretty good for sticking with me. Also, they contain fiber, which takes longer to process. If you don't like cereal, the next best seemed to be an egg sandwich with a piece of fruit. If you are desperate, you can pack a PB&J and excuse yourself to go eat it in the bathroom. Drink plenty of water, too, as it helps your brain to function better.
Best wishes.

Oatmeal, if u don't like oats then try grits with a little butter and salt. If u don't like that I eat bacon and eggs and drink plenty of water. But u mite be a type of person that needs to eat every 2-3 hours.

Add some peanut butter to your toast and eat a banana on the side. Also, a glass of milk.

eat some protein - try peanut butter on your toast, or a breakfast wrap with a scrambled egg and cheese. protein will help you feel full longer and will give your body the fuel it needs to carry you through the morning.

other quick, tasty ideas:
a slice of leftover pizza
a smoothie with yogurt and fresh fruit
a kashi granola bar and milk
a hard-boiled egg with your toast

have your toast made with whole wheat bread

add some protein with it..IE peanut butter...or boiled egg

add some real fruit to your breakfast..

or have things like cottage cheese and fruit..

in other words..just having toast will not be enough for breakfast..you have to add protein..and a good carb.

oatmeal with banana slices is hearty and very good for you also
