i bought a haro x1 and the lady asked what kind of bike do u want and i was like im gonna be riding freestyle she said the x1 is pretty good and i was like ok so we bought that one and i think iit is for a different purpose so can anybody clarify this and tell me some tricks/tips for me to do on this bike?

The X1 is considered a beginners trail bike which means it is for playing in the dirt, not for freestyle.
I can give you a couple of tips for doing tricks... first, wear a helmet (did you ever see a pro without one?) and second, practice.

What do you want the bike for? You just said that probably you were sold the bike for another purpose, but you never say what you want to do with the bike.
