They did it to us and I tell you, I would probably have cracked after 10 minutes of that and it has no long term effects, like a missing head. I would have rather just gone through the water boarding then the snow and just sitting out there in the cold.

I totally agree, water boarding, loud music, uncomfortable living conditions, lights on 24 hours a day, just don't constitute torture. And they are proven effective. I don't have any problems with keeping someone up for 24 hours or longer if it will save just one soldiers life.

As a former Drill Sgt, if I'm out in the boonies and I find some bad guy whos got information I need to keep my soldiers alive?

I'll skin him alive just warm up- then I'll get mean

My soldiers safety health and welfaire first and foremost- cause the politicans lie, and the people at home don't know whats going on.

I went through it back in Jan of 1985... I wasn't one of those water-boarded, but I did leave with a broken wrist and 3 broken ribs... as well as the "normal" scratches, scrapes, bruises, and the STENCH of a GOAT.

I certainly don't have a problem with waterboarding the BAD GUYS... beats the alternative

Nope, I hear they break bones there. I got that from a reliable source. You got to be some kind of tough to go there. I'm glad us Tankers didn't need to go.
