Well, you're feeling upset because you don't like the fact that someone who has done the same crime is being brought to justice, while your assaulter hasn't been. And that's fair.
But, while you waited five years, this new girl told immediately, and that's the difference. Five years can do a lot to memory, especially during tough situations like the one you went through, and waiting five years makes it harder to be sure, harder to find the perpetrator (when they're not known), etc. So, you're anger is understandable, but you could also be glad that this recent guy has been punished. One less off the streets, right?

It's never easy when justice is served for someone that endured the same traumas as you, while you aren't given peace of mind.
Do I think you are overreacting? I wouldn't know, I've been fortunate enough to have never been molested. I don't know the feeling at all, all I know is what people in the same situation tell me about their experience. You have the right to feel any way you wish to feel about the situation, you don't have to rationalize it. Whether you're pissed, sad... whatever. Only you know the feeling.

That does no longer additionally be criminal! I have not have been given any sympathy for the loser. Oh, and four childrens without interest? i assume the tax-payers are footing the bill for this "Romeo and Juliet" romance. a minimum of now perhaps he would be waiting to discover a job to assist his very own stupid options. no. they should have been told but that was old news five years ago this now and current.
you cannot get rid of the past unless you face it and you have. now you can move forward and pursue this guy who molested you and prosecute him. no statute of limitation upon molestation. good luck.

You need to get counseling about this matter. I am serious it is not something to stuff. Sexual offenders can be brought to justice years after the event. Talk to a counselor and they can advise on this too.
