I am Christian and believe strongly in evolution. My church had a large article about evolution in it's paper 3 weeks ago. Just because you believe in God doesnt mean you CANT believe in evolution.

Well Darwin was actually a Christian until late in his life, so I guess you could say he counts.
On the 12 August 1950 the Roman Catholic Chruch accepted that the ‘doctrine of evolution’ was a valid scientific inquiry, stated by Pope Pius XII.
Later, in 1996 Pope John Paul II gave a message to the Pontifical Academy of Sciences in which he said “Today, almost half a century after publication of the encyclical, new knowledge has led to the recognition of the theory of evolution as more than a hypothesis.” Later that same year the Roman Catholic Chruch aknowledged that the earth was not in fact flat.

That is a great question! You should differentiate between micro and macro evolution. Almost all people agree with micro evolution or small incremental adaptation that a species goes thru to survive. Macro evolution, where one species evolves into another has never been proven and actually makes "evolution" just theory and not fact. There are thousands of Theists who agree with me on this. I don't know if any were or are famous. There is much more common ground between creationists and non-creationists than most people think.

Well I don't know celebrity who feels that way.
However, with that being said I do. I am a Christian and realize that the story written in the bible about creation is merely a story. There is god's time and then there is the world's time. It has its own rule and its own law, in God Himself; the time of the world has its measure in man.
Evolution is constantly on display in our world. However with that being said us merely being a matter of chance as in the Big Bang or ambiogensis theories leaves a lot more questions un-answered. I am however a Christian who does beleive in Evolution.

charles darwin was an agnostic at the time he proposed the theory of evolution, and later became an atheist. but his religious beliefs in no way influenced his scientific theories.
the whole of the roman catholic church accepts the theory of evolution. so does the whole of the anglican communion in europe. the european lutherans, baptists, calvinists, congregationalists have all issued statements saying that they have no problem with evolutionary theory.
opposition to evolutionary theory is almost confined to the us (and even within the us mainly an issue only in the southern states).
evolutionary theory is so critical a part of modern scientific thinking that it is almost impossible to be a scientist without accepting it. so virtually every scientist who is also a christian is also a subscriber to evolutionary theory.
there are hundreds of thousands of scientists who are christians.

Many modern Christians believe in an evolution by design theory and that the days it took god to create the world were actually millions of years so that he tweaked the creatures as he created them before creating adam and eventually eve
Though unfortunately most famous people don't tell what they truly believe so i can only go with i'm sure maybe somewhere

I think there are, I am a Christian and according to the bible we were created in GODS image, only one problem is our image has changed from early man, so does that mean GODS image has also changed? AND who says that evolution itself is not a creation of GOD? Evolution and Darwinism are NOT the same, HAVE we evolved as a species....certainly! WE could not have made it this far without evolving....why? Because, our environment has also evolved, it is called adaptation.....is that contrary to Christianity>? I don't think so.......

My mom. (she's famous to me).
She believes in both creation and evolution. She thinks God is right and so are scientists.
She believes evolution happened over billions of years, and when the monkey finally started walking, God intervened and put a soul in one and called him Adam.
I"m not making this up.
