How was it? It happened the way you imagined? Was romantic? Was the most important day of your life? Have you promised your mom or your grandmother you will be a bride? I am just curious how people weddings are, what do people feel in their wedding day. I was reading somewhere how the wedding day is the day when the groom loves his wife the most. It sounded romantic. Tell me about you guys.

I planned and executed the perfect wedding. My wonderful husband, of 17 days now, and I had the perfect day just as we planned it. I don;t think there are words to describe the awesome feelings that you feel for each other on your wedding day. The overwhelming feeling of love, happiness, respect, admiration, fear, nervousness, and the unknown. The moment I saw my groom for the first time on our wedding day I knew that we would without a doubt be together and be truly happy and in love every day for the rest of our lives. What an awesome feeling it is, and even though we have been together for over 4 years our love has matured and grown every day since the wedding. If you are thinking of getting married and you have found your soul mate, I would highly recommend going for it!

I always pictured myself getting married on the beach, it was a vision I kept close to my heart for many years. I got married last year and my wedding was everything I had imagined and more. However the day went by so quickly I wish I had not stressed about certain things (weather, food, guests) and concentrated on the day itself.

It is a very romantic day but the real beauty of the day is that it symbolises your love for someone....which is eternal

I'm a florst and over the past two years have seen hundreds of stressed out brides and worked at an annoying bridal convention. I think the most romantic thing would be to elope. I promised my parents I was going to get married by elvis in vegas or if i ever went on vacation to hawaii that meant i was getting married. My mom said she would kill me if she wasn't invited to my wedding. I told her i was going to show up to christmas one of these days married......

i don't want to spend my whole life dreaming about one day. i want to dream about the day after and beyond...

i totally agree with njyecats!
vegas baby!

A Wedding is one day the marraige is for the rest of your life. My husband had said to me it is more important to put more money into the marraige than the wedding. I 100% agree.

A couple will spend thousands to get divorced but not hundreds of dollars to go for counselling.

The wedding day for us had its place in history and was not overstated or overdone but what is even MORE important than the wedding day is that we have invested 14 years of being happily married and this takes effort it does NOT happen naturally.

No the wedding was not the most important day of our lives accepting the Lord was. We had waited in more ways than one to wait to get married and I was more than exicted to get the wedding over with so we could finally go on our honeymoon in more ways than one.

I actually love my wife more now than on our wedding day. For me, from a man's point of view(at least mine), the wedding day is the day that I promise my wife all those things found in the vows. I forsake all others, except her, honor and cherish her.

I loved her long before that and my love continues to grow for her and our children every day.

Yes, I have the pictures to prove it, too~~ it was a candle lite wedding with a piano playing in the chapel of the church I was raised in. The candle light and piano happened when the main power supply severed at the pole outside the church. The most memorable day of my life~ 34 years ago this coming September!
