Are you 10? Being attracted to the same sex is gay. An ear piercing doesn't specify your sexuality. Get which ever ear you want pierced, and grow up.

Well, typically people consider the right ear to say that you are gay. Society considers the left or both to be straight. However in my opinion it does not matter which ear you pierce. In the 50's and 60's you were considered gay if you pierced anything on the male body. You are only gay if you actually are gay,no matter what you say or do.
But you may want to just pierce the left or both so as to avoid comments from the fools who believe everything that they have heard.

There used to be a stereotype in the past about which ear you have pierced and your sexuality but I don't think any more. It almost seems like a geographical thing...I've seen alot of guys from the east coast that have their right ear pierced but others pierce the left and I've seen guys with both ears pierced. So again, I really don't think ear piercings reflect sexuality as it once did.

My friend (male) use to wear an earring.

We did a real funny test! Or should I say he allowed "Me" to do a test on him (I love human reactions and human thought patterns)

We went to a street festival (Rock, downtown Charlotte, NC) Bands galore......the test was this:

I could approach any person/people and ask there HONEST opinion of the earrings. (Promising that person or people it was all in good fun and good spirit, but that he wanted a true assessment)

I stopped over 40 people all walks of life all age groups all races...the overall opinion:

This is from their mouths not mine: "Basically"

"Sir, you look as gay as a Two-Headed Nickel"

I laughed sooo hard..that guy snatched the earring out and threw it on the ground. Too many strangers thought the same exact thing.

I wish I had that on video! LOL

P.S. He also wore this surfer type beaded choker...i guess he thought it looked good...All 40 people said "Dude, lose the choker, you look like a little kid." (same thing he pulled the choker off and all the beads went everywhere, and he had been wearing that choker for years and never took it off) I never laughed so hard..in fact, I love to run tests like this..because people (when choosing their accessories or attire) sometimes just look in the mirror and think it looks great..when really the overall opinion is totally opposite.

If you saw that same man today (3 yrs later) he changed his look and now looks handsome. No frills, No Surprises and No Bells and Whistles attached! All man...and he thanks me for that test. I asked him jokingly "would you like me to buy a beaded necklace and an earring?" He stated "NO."

My husband has both of his ears pierced... he works on a construction site and cops a lot of sh!t over it, but he likes it so it doesn't matter. I don't think people remeber which ear is supposed to be gay and which isn't!

No, but I think all guys look gay with peirced ears. For me, I just don't think guys need to have peirced ears. Sorry if I seem rude, I am not trying to be. God Bless!

if only your right is pierced, people will think your gay. but you can pierce you left or both and it dosnt mean anything : )
