Even though I am a Christian, I'd probably not hold a sign up because that would only shut many people off. They'd point and laugh, "There's another one of those people." Not that I'd be ashamed to, but it would not be a very effective form of witnessing. If you are a true Christian, you don't have to parade around with a big sign...people will just know. The Bible says, "By their fruits, you shall know them." In other words, by your life and the way you live, people will know that Christ has changed you into a new creation. Old things are passed away and behold, all things are made new!

The extra large poster board would read something like this,"THIS IS THE SIGN YOU HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR!"
Underneath that;
An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign.

Matthew 12:38-39
38 Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee. 39 But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:

My sign would also say, "Today is the day of Salvation. Ask me how." Truth is, we really don't need sign when we witness. We only need to wait on the Holy Spirit to guide us on what we should say in that very hour we need to speak for the Lord to a lost soul, seeking Jesus we also have to be ready at all times on how to respond when someone asks you of your faith. They will ask when they sense God's Agape Love and Truth in you.

In Christ,

Be Holy as I am Holy. My daughter and I just talked about this while waiting for a tire repair. She said something that I told her not to say, people may hear her and that was not what I wanted to betray. She said the other 2 people sitting there was not christians and I ask why? she said you can just tell. I said no you can't- look at me if you didn't know me you could not tell, she replied yes you can mom. I ask how, she said I had Holy written across my forhead.

Jesus had nothing to do with all that Bible stuff and would probably not be a Christian. Maby Hindu or Buddhist.

The bible is just made up stuff...100's of years after Jesus.

15:32 And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man that gathered sticks upon the sabbath day.
15:33 And they that found him gathering sticks brought him unto Moses and Aaron, and unto all the congregation.
15:34 And they put him in ward, because it was not declared what should be done to him.
15:35 And the LORD said unto Moses, The man shall be surely put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones without the camp.
15:36 And all the congregation brought him without the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died; as the LORD commanded Moses.

...all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination unto you:
They shall be even an abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcases in abomination.
Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination unto you. Leviticus 11:10-12
