The Forn Sidr/Norse Heathen believe we will see our virtuous ancestors and friends in Valhalla, but not everyone goes to the same world - it depends on what they need to learn and develop their soul.
To quote the 13th Warrior:
'Lo, there do I see my father.
'Lo, there do I see My mother, and my sisters, and my brothers.
'Lo, there do I see The line of my people back to the beginning.
'Lo, they do call to me.
They bid me take my place among them
In the halls of Valhalla.
Where the brave may live forever.

Well, the main thing we will be doing is worshiping the Lord! Also, I think we will have jobs to do, and yes, we will know our loved ones, but they will not be our mother, or father, or aunt or uncle, etc. We will all be brothers and sisters! We will know them, but we won't remember certain things. There will be no sadness there, so we couldn't remember our earthly lives, because they include sadness. Right? It will just be different when we see our relatives. We will love them, just like we love everyone else in Heaven, and we will know them, but not as they were or as we were. I think the most overwhelming thing for us, as humans is to think about eternity. Eternity is forever and ever. Wow! That's a hard concept to grasp, isn't it? It's a little overwhelming, to say the least. But, we must trust in God and He will give us all the good things He promised. I can't wait!

If Heaven does exist and it is like James says (the same as life) let me life forever! Bleck... why go back to Life, after Life...
Anyway, I believe that any situation that causes energy or action to stop detrimental. Existance is about movent and energy. If you go to Heaven and there is nothing more but bliss and peaches, and that is your reward for dying, then the life you left wasn't worth living....
I don't believe in Heaven. I believe you die, and become someone else in another time... You keep moving forward...

This is intersting, because the Bible clearly informs us what those who go to heaven will be doing. I'm curious to read the answers.
But in MY studies, here is what I've found...
What will those who go to heaven do there?
Rev. 20:6: “They will be priests of God and of the Christ, and will rule as kings with him for the thousand years.” (Also Daniel 7:27)
1Â Cor. 6:2: “Do you not know that the holy ones will judge the world?”
Rev. 5:10: “You made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God, and they are to rule as kings over the earth.”

God's word says those going to heaven will be ruling as kings and priests.
Rev. 20:6: “They will be priests of God and of the Christ, and will rule as kings with him for the thousand years.” (Also Daniel 7:27)
1Â Cor. 6:2: “Do you not know that the holy ones will judge the world?”
Rev. 5:10: “You made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God, and they are to rule as kings over [“on,” RS, KJ, Dy; “over,” AT, Da, Kx, CC] the earth.” (The same Greek word and grammatical structure is found at Revelation 11:6

i think we will know our family in heaven, my husband as my husband and so fourth, but i do know that if one of our family members don't make it in to heaven we won't know, because there are no more sorrows in heaven. i think we will all eat together with the lord, i think we will laugh and play games and pray together. i think we will walk on streets of gold, we will never have to worry about going to buy food or soap or medication and etc.... it is all free and we will never get sick. we will walk on streets of gold, close your eyes and think of that(wow) streams will sparkle like diamonds, flowers will bloom in so many beautiful colors. i think there will be animals that we have never seen before, that we can just walk up to and pet without being harmed or them being frightened. you will always feel great never sick, or sore not even a headache. i hope my family is saved when he comes for his people. may god bless you

you are asking a question that no one in the world knowns, but I would guess that you would see family members and live for eternity with them according to what the bible says.

...it seems that the bible tells us that what ever you allow yourself to do here on earth (that is of God) will be what you will be allowed to do in heaven:
Matthew 16:19
I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven."
