You wont be able to force it from her. Just let her know that you are very concerned and you don't like to see her sad like this and gentle tell her that if she wants to she can tell you whatever it is that's bothering her. Dont pressure her, just let her know you're there when she's ready.

Just be there to support her, let her know your available if she decides she wants to talk. Chances are she will work through whatever is bothering her. You did mention how long she's been crying.... a day, week, a few times a month? If she continues to cry often over a period of time. (weeks or months) Then you may talk to her about seeing her family doctor. Depression can be very serious.

there could be thousands of reasons. a really great one is PMS. also, some girls who were severely traumatized in early clildhood (like that little girl from Las Vegas, or in my own family, my youngest sister) will cry endlessly for no clear reason. it took my sister more than 20 years to realize what had been done to her. it could be anything. just hold her close, say comforting words, and be there for her. it'll pay off big.

I've had those moments where i just sit and cry. The only thing I wished my parents ever did was to hug me. Don't ask her questions, it will just make it worse. Tell her you're there for her and just hug her... if she starts crying... let her cry and just hold her. She'll feel safe, and she'll tell you about it because she knows that you're there for her and she wasn't threatened by questions and accusations.

Don't ask questions, just let her know that she can tell you anything and be there to hold her when she cries. Unless the reason is something you did, which it probably isn't if you think you didn't do anything.

Just be there with her when she's feeling down. When she's ready to tell you what's wrong she will. Don't pressure her and try to get it out of her. Just be a shoulder to cry on and everything will work out.

is your nickname "iceman" a noun or a verb... don't act like one.. we women are very sentimental, and have many thoughts in our minds that we are not always ready to talk about.. for now the best thing you can do is let her know you are there for her.. with those words too.. say something like "i want you to know that seen you cry makes me very sad too and that whatever it is that you're going through i wish i could know, but if you don't want to talk about it, let me know when you are ready because i will be ready to listen.. in the mean time... i'm still here with you"... Good Luck!!

aw i just thought that this was soo swt! your concern for her! you really seem to be fond of her..
give her time she'll open up when she's ready. make it clear that whatever shes going through you'll be there for her, to face the problem together..
btw..just an idea..why dont u tell her some problemz or certain personal details about your own life..maybe she'd feel better about opening up about her life...
Best of luckk
hope it all works well,

give her a hug and tell her that whenever she is ready to talk you are ready to listen.
when she does, don't give her advice unless she asks for it. it is tempting to i know, becaus eyou want to help her but sometimes a girl just needs to let it out and be held, she doesn't need someone to fix it for her. if she does she will say so.
