The science is settled, global warming is mostly man made. Why do you think people continue to deny the facts?

Either because they don't understand the science, are ignorant of the science, or simply don't want to believe the science is true.

Science is never "settled."
At one time the consensus was that the earth was flat and the sun revolved around it. These "scientists" considered it settled then too. Luckily some intelligent people dared to question these "settled facts" and proved the consensus was wrong.
This is applying today as well. As more is learned about the earth and climate, the man-made global warming myth becomes less and less probable. Just look at history if you're confused. We had the same hysterics going on the 70's when these same "scientists" believed we would be in an ice age before the year 2000.

Science is never "settled." People have known about gravity for millenia, but we still don't know much about it. Likewise, while it's obvious manmade global warming is happening, exactly how fast it's happening, how bad it will get, and other consequences are nowhere near certain.

Because you’re wrong; the science is *not* settled. Far from it.
In fact, as more and more evidence is collected, the alarmism regarding global warming is looking less and less justified.
The IPCC themselves, for example, have *reduced* their estimate of the net anthropogenic effect on climate by about a quarter since their last report, and have *halved* their high-end estimate of sea level rise.
It’s true that the Alarmists would like you to *believe* that the “science is settled”, because they want to stifle debate and fool the world, but basically they’re lying.

The earth has warmed and cooled many times, without the help of man, in the past. It will continue to do so without the help of man.

I think basically that people are afraid of losing there lively hood . There afraid of change or it may come out of there pocket . Some people you can put something directly in there face and they just cant see it . Have you ever lost something and looked all over for it and it just seems like it disappeared you looked and looked in that same place 5 times then you decide to look again and low and behold there it is . . The mind is a funny thing if you believe hard enough that it isn't there your not going to see it .

Some are honestly mistaken.
Others are political conservatives who take their politics to extremes. If liberals, environmentalists, or worst, Al Gore, say something, it simply must be wrong. No matter how many scientists say the same thing.
They often get their "science" from right wing websites. Maybe they should listen to Newt:
"Former Republican House Speaker Newt Gingrich challenged fellow conservatives to stop resisting scientific evidence of global warming"

i dont buy it cause they use the same prediction models as they do hurricanes and hurricanes aint predictable not even the path they will take
If CO2 is the cause then why do air factories make CO2 on purpose. Why do tanker trucks haul CO2 all the time. To put in your beer and sodas.

nothing is ever settled, otherwise why are we discussing it all the time?
maybe if gw is man made, it has built in obsolescence, and ultimately we have nothing to worry about.
