They were (and remain) heroes. Any implied "villainy" is the result of an analysis of the moral and political merits of their mission, and not to the dedication, professionalism, and courage with which they execute their duties. The integrity questions are not visited upon the individual service member, but upon their Commander-in-Chief. (The President of the United States).

They are not seen as villans around the world. That is what the mainstream media and pinheads like Phil want you to think. Let me ask you this. Why is America the #1 destination for people from all over the world to imigrate to?

Just because you see someone in another country burn a USA Flag does not meen the entire country hates us. We have helped more people around the world than any other country. By the way Phil and the rest of you uneducated leftist koolade drinkers. EVERY nation with spy capabilities and the UN and the Clinton Administration beleived that Iraq had WMD's. He was activly pursuing nuclear weapons and threw the UN inspectors out in the 90's. Furthermore he gased the Kurds in the early 90's which by the way Gas is a WMD.

Everywhere our troops have gone, they are welcomed and have a good relationship with the populace.
The Iraqis love us - just ask a soldier returning. Then ask him/her about the Iranians.
Talk to anyone neutral about Bosnia. We are a Godsend.
Afghanistan - same thing.
You are witnessing a battle in our society which has nothing to do with any foreign battle, but is the battle to enable one group or another to have exclusive rights to lie to you. The perception of a war is always an easy mark, and is now a political football, which should be abandoned to honor our troops.
EXCEPT, they are in the field fighting for the exact right & privelege for those groups to kick that football.
Such is Freedom.

Way back once upon a time the American people believed in good and bad, and right and wrong. We went out and saved countries from evil dictators like Hitler, Mussolini, the Kaiser of Germany, etc.
America still does these kind of things: but the people have fallen away from this drivel. Save the world and protect innocent people from evil dictators like Slobodon Milosevich, Saddam, and Adolf Abaminanjad, people who can't defend themselves like Kuwaities, Iraqies, Afgans,Bosnians, Vietnamese? Whats a Bosnian?

Anyway, the chickens that the leftie teachers have created don't believe that the most powerful country in thwe world should be the defender of the weak, helper of the helpless, and fight for truth Justice, and the American way. No. thats for Superman, not Americans.
Now they want us to believe WE are the bad guys for wanting to get involved!
You figure it out!

Try to picture the world as a station wagon or min-van with a lot of seats. The U.S. is driving. The other nations of the world are sitting in the other seats. Calls of "Are we there yet?" and "Daddy, this is France. Germany is making nasty faces at me!", can be heard. It's only when we threaten to stop the vehicle and tell everyone else to get out, does the griping stop.

I think you have to look at your present administration and the misinformation and lies they fed the world as fact to put forward their own agenda. They have done an injustice to the country, the troops and those around the world that trusted America to do the right thing.

Its more that your government is seen as the villain. Illegally invading a foreign country that was no threat, while not doing anything about Saudi where most of the 9/11 hijackers came from..... THATS why world opinion is against the government.

No-one with a brain would blame the troops for doing their job, and following orders.

you can't be serious..and that's not a knock on you i'm not calling you a name..but when on a daily basis we drop bombs ON FAMILIES..did you ever stop to think that maybe we have it wrong..that NOT ALL PEOPLE are terrorists..yet every mistake the usa makes they say...we know they were insurgents..or something like that...well when you piss people off over there..WHO ACTUALLY KNOW....you can see how they'd get mad. i'm not fighting with you so don't take it like i am. but i'm dumbfounded at time how so many americans simple believe what their miltary and gov tells them

by the way i've lived in more than one country and i come from a military family. i'm not anti military. my mom actually is a detective and father was a seal...one of my brothers is in afghanastan as we speak and one of my nephews is in iraq. my father served in nam and grandpa in ww2. But even they say that its hard to make people believe in you when keep killing innocent people just to get a handful of bad guys.

that's my opinion from where i sit.

Because (and it's not the fault of our soldiers) the US government had an "agenda" for the war in Iraq. People in other countries fear that the US may try to take them over too.
