If you are in a Godly spirit filled church you will know it because you will feel the Holy Spirit moving. You should feel joy and love inside the church house. You should come home after the service feeling so much better than when you went in. If not something is definitely wrong but the problem maybe you. Are you ready your Bible like you should? Are you praying like you should? There are a number of questions you can ask yourself, remember in Hebrews the Bible says God never changes so when we feel a million miles from Jesus it is us that has moved. I am a Southern Baptist and our Pastor teaches the Bible, he doesn't put on a show and he doesn't wear clothes that cost more than my house and he quotes scripture more than he talkes himself. We are also heavy into supporting and going on mission trips. I believe we should spread the good news of Jesus Christ. A candle shouldnot be put under a basket but on a hill for all to see. My Church is growing and the Power of God is there because you can feel the Holy Spirit moving about during the service. Just walking in the door lifts my spirits up. Praise the Lord, Sunday is my favorite day and if you are a Christian it should be yours, if not something isnot right. Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Romans, great book of the new Testament. The roman road, it got me saved, how about YOU!!!

Well is there such an institution as a true church. Remember god tried to stop such goings on. God did not order us to build churches, they are simply a manmade institution and as such are vulnerable to go astray. Remember the parrabol of the 7 churches of Philidelphia? The bible has been rewritten and revised and clraned up so much that generations today have no idea what was really in the old testament not to mentiuon the new testament. Everything is about money today to the point that some churches expect a member to give at least 15% of their income to the church. Otherwise they are deemed a member not in good standing and could be dropped from the member roll. To answer your question about true churches if you find one that actually preaches from the old testament (Gods' word) then that is a church worth while attending. I remember one time at christnas service after it was over an older gentleman approached the pastor and said I have been coming here for many years and every year it's the same sermon, the pastor replied that as long as he was pastor at that church he will continue to speak from the old testament and nothing else. There's more that I could relate but I will spare you all as you probably get the tone of what I have said.

The Identifying Marks Of The True Remnant Church:
-Calls people back to faithful keeping of the 10 commandments(Matt7:21-23;Ezekiel 20:12,20)
-Preaches that God's judgment hour has begun
-Teaches holiness regarding our body temples(1Cor6:18-20)
-Is guided by the gift of prophecy(Rev12:17;Rev19:10)
-It was to be raised up after the 1260 years of papal persecution ends(1798)
-Gives a clear warning against the mark of the beast(Daniel7:25;Rev13:16;2Thes2:3-4,8)
-The true church will give a call for God's people to come out of Babylon.
-Preaches the three angels' messages, which contain the "everlasting gospel" which Jesus is our only Savior.(Acts4:12;Isaiah 45:22)
-It will be a world-wide church with a world wide message(Matt.24:14,Rev14:6)
-Teaches Bible truth about death as a sleep(Eccles9:5,6,10)
-Will proclaim the truth about Jesus' Second Coming.(Matt24)

Remember-you don't find truth by a church, but you do find the right church by knowing the truth(John 17:17) God has many sincere people in many churches which He invites to come and join the one remnant voice preaching God's last-day message.(John10:16)

Well I get together at least twice a week with two close war buddies of mine; and conduct a true sincere Bible study before the unbreakable ritual of Halo 3. That's my church and how I worship God, by living life and enjoying what he has given to me.

The doctrines and dogmas of organized religions all vary to suit their own personal needs. You should concern yourself with what the Bible teaches. Your body is the temple of God. Go into thy closet and pray. Don't pray to images. Don't pray in vain repetition's. etc. There is much to learn then you can compare justly.

We need to see if it follows what the bible teaches us.

Its Head and Founder--CHRIST. He is the law-giver; the Church is only the executive. (Matt. 16:18; Col. 1:18)

Its only rule of faith and practice--THE BIBLE. (II Tim. 3:15-17)

Its name--"CHURCH," "CHURCHES." (Matt. 16:18; Rev. 22:16)

Its polity--CONGREGATIONAL--all members equal. (Matt. 20:24-28; Matt. 23:5-12)

Its members--only saved people. (Eph. 2:21; I Peter 2:5)

Its ordinances--BELIEVERS' BAPTISM, FOLLOWED BY THE LORD'S SUPPER. (Matt. 28:19-20)

Its officers--PASTORS AND DEACONS. (I Tim. 3:1-16)

Its work--getting folks saved, baptizing them (with a baptism that meets all the requirements of God's Word), teaching them ("to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you"). (Matt. 28:16-20)

Its financial plan--"Even so (TITHES and OFFERINGS) hath the Lord ordained that they which preach the gospel should live of the gospel," (I Cor. 9:14)

Its weapons of warfare--spiritual, not carnal. (II Cor. 10:4; Eph. 6:10-20)

Its independence--separation of Church and State. (Matt. 22:21)

The true Christian Church has always been one, non-denominational, evangelical, charismatic, bible believing, eucharistic, holy, apostolic, and infallible.

It has always been Catholic.
