American 'aluminum'...? There's an extra 'i' in the former.

Yep. The Aussie pronunciation and accent have way more in common with the British and USA accents -- including aluminum.

They use BE spelling, aluminium. They pronounce it accordingly, with their Aussie accent, of course.

they pronounce it diffrent depening on their accent. so i guess they would. idk.
