the answer to your question is no, if he didn't have the decency to be faithful to you, and you have proof, once you move on with your life, what gets him upset is that you look better to him after you were with him. in other words, he can't have you so he longs to have something that's now out of reach. keep it that way, lest you want to get hurt again.

All people are different. In my case, I do get sad when I see an ex-girlfriend lose their feelings for me. I have never lost my feelings for any of my ex-girlfriends, they just changed. I still care for them in much the same way. Some of them I have romantic feelings for still, others, I have more a friendship feeling towards them.
Your saying that you "lost the butterflies" makes me think that you aren't very mature in your relationships. If you want butterflies, find a boyfriend that will go on rollercoasters with you. Or do some karaoke. Relationships shouldn't be based on butterflies. They should be based on love.

Sometimes yes, but generally no.
When my high school girlfriend and I broke up I was depressed for almost a year. Then after I thought everything was fine, she showed up at my house one day just to see how I was doing. It really crushed me at the time, but I got over it a couple of days later.

First off, he's not a whore, he's a healthy male human being of sexual maturity. He may be a liar, and that's wrong, but keep in mind our current society is so prudish and stupid no one has the balls to admit they want to have sex with more than one person.
But to answer your question, not really, unless he's still carrying a torch for you. That would mean you had no legitimate reason to end the relationship, since he really loved you and you seemed to really love him.

I think that's a natural reaction for anyone seeing their ex moving on, even when you consider yourself to have moved on as well.
With time and more relationships you learn to care less about your ex and what they're doing. It's only a waste of time.
