I'm sorry to say, but if you're doing nothing but crunches, your stomach may never get toned! You need an exercise program that balances the kinds of exercises you do.

I found a good site run by a well-known exercise specialist and fitness trainer, and he's put together a program of great workouts and diet information designed to quickly shrink your waist and tone your stomach. He shows you what works and what doesn't work. Just knowing what NOT to do will save you time and money in the end and speed up your progress. If you're interested you can check it out at :

Good luck to you!

It wont happen ever! 1) your abdominals are muscles - they need time to rest so working them every day to that extent especially is totally pointless! do it every other day and do them in three sets of the most you can do 2) a toned stomach is made in the kitchen - not the gym (yes its a cliche but its true) Even if you do all those situps and your abs get a real good workout, unless u have very little fat over your belly you wont see it! you need to get your bot fat levels DOWN! otherwise you wont be able to see your nice toned tummy! Cardio exercise is also key with the diet. Dont expect results fast but dont be downheartened! good luck!

If you are thin, it will probably take a good 6- 8 months to notice a difference. If you have any fat on your belly you must do cardio and eat right to shed the fat before you will be able to see the muscles.

3) drink plenty of water and green tea

4) Avoid junk food, snacks and soda drinks

5) have 5-6 healthy meals a day (1 plate size only) to keep the tummy
satisfied

6) exercise - combine weights and cardio.

depends on your body type and where you are at now, and what you eat of course, but I would say a very long time, at least 6mo.

I'm fairly trim, and I do the equivalant of about 500 each day through differet exercises and I don't have great deffinition yet, i've been at it for about 6mo.
