(When you have to chose God or satan, and if you chose satan you dont have to suffer on earth. but if you chose God, you have to suffer BUT you will go to Heaven after all that...that is catholic, christians, etc believe.) What would you do? Try to recieve Christ..or what?? plz be discriptive. Im trying to do a mini project.

I don't believe in gods. I don't believe in fortunetelling. I don't believe in listening to voices in my head that tell me nonsense.

Hypotheticals about 'what if' are mostly useless, there are way to many variables and if I believed such nonsense I would be a very different person. Who knows what I would do.

I don't believe in gods. And even if I wanted to.... why would the christian god get special mention? There are literally hundreds, even thousands, of gods to choose from. I doubt many atheists would choose that vengeful murdering bastard Yahweh, that we find in the bible, if they had a choice.

Ask yourself your own question:

I know you don't believe in Odin, but just say that tomorrow REALLY WAS the Ragnarok, and you were having these thoughts coming to your head about what the Snorra Edda was saying. (When you have to chose Odin or Loki, and if you chose Loki you dont have to suffer on earth. but if you chose Odin, you have to suffer BUT you will go to Valhalla after all that...that is what the Norse believe.) What would you do? Pray to Balder..or what?? plz be discriptive. Im trying to do a mini project.

I have a problem with people who are religious because they are hedging their bets. Once people have decided to "come out" as atheists, they've searched their soul and brain and decided that God and the Bible are nice tales but that's about it. Believe it or not, in this society going against the majority is not the easiest thing and it isn't a decision people make without a tremendous amount of thought.

It would be pretty darned hypocritical, when faced with something awful, to think, "well, I doubt there is a God but I'm going to pray here just in case there is because I don't want to burn. Why have beliefs if they are that easily overridden.

I've been faced with plenty of hard times and tragedies in my life. Not once have I prayed to a God. I believe in my heart and mind that while it might be comforting to think that someone has my back, no one does.

If the world were ending tomorrow, I'd accept my fate.

1. I wouldn't KNOW it was the end of the world so we can take that part out. What makes you think I would come to the conclusion that the world was really ending? That wouldn't at all be clear.

2. Why would I choose either of your two options when I don't believe in God? Even if I thought about the bible, that wouldn't mean I believed it was true.

3. If God did exist, I would oppose him because he's a sadistic demon.

I really think that you have your information a little wrong.... at the second coming of christ, or the end of the world your bible doent say that you have a choice to choose god or the devil. You should have made that choice a long time beofre that. But to answer you question It is better to reign in hell than to serve in heaven. I really wish there was a god so I could ask him what his problem is....if he is all knowing and all poewerful he really messed things up here on earth.

This question really makes no sense to atheists.

If tomorrow is the last day for the world GOD AND THE BIBLE ARE THE LAST THINGS ON MY MIND ...

no I take that back.. they aren't even the last things on my mind.. they DO NOT EXIST WITH ME ..

on my last day on earth. I would visit all my family and friends who are of driving distance .. then call those who are a distance away. I would say a quick good bye to my neighbors.. then eat a WHOLE LARGE pizza with beer while sitting outside on the beach

Athiest dont believe in satan or god. Or anything

I wouldnt try to recieve or choose anyone ,, If peter was there talking to everyone at the gates I would chat him up and want to talk to God straight up face to face...We would discuss everything and go over everything and then Id do what he suggested to do. becuase if he really knows best then he would have the answers.

Yet another naive re-wording of Pascal's Wager (and once again assuming that there is only the Christian God or Satan from which to choose)

Do try and come up with something new, child!

And mine is a large Lagavulin ... cheers!

I'd make the most of my time left on earth. If it really was the end of the world, you'd think that this "god" guy would show his face and prove to everyone that he was real.

At the end of the world the bible would be the furthest thing from my mind. My mind would be on my loved ones.

Death does not scare me enough to make me believe in something that isn't real.
