I'm giving away candy favors at my wedding and can't decide which one of the two is preferable? I think both taste good but only want to go with one.

i know some of the flavors are different, however there are individual flavor packages as well.

Most people go with chocolate but I prefer jelly beans. If you were to go with jelly beans what flavor would you choose? The ones that go with your color scheme might not be all that tasty whereas the chocolate will taste the same no matter what the color is. Chocolate makes better sense.

M&M's, definitely! I especially love the mint and the peanut butter flavored ones ... but I'll still take plain ones over Jelly Belly Jelly Beans of any flavor!

m&m's, I don't like the jelly bellies and other people might not either.
Was there a particular flavor you were thinking or just the assorted variety? Most of the flavors taste gross to me but m&m's are soooo good no matter what!

well first look at the weather and see if it even permits you to do chocolate with making a mess for u and the guess. If the weather permits i would say the m&ms only because you can go to there website and get them personalized for free. But u also want to take in the factor that your favors are supposed to reflect something about the two of u so think about that when you decide.

This will probably be blasphemous to some, but I don't like chocolate that much, so I would say Jelly Belly's (mmmm...Juicy Pear!) Seem less messy to me as well.

I would go with the jelly Belly's!! YUM!!!! I personally wouldn't waste my time personalizing M & M's that people are just going to eat anyway. You can personalize a lot of other stuff that will be around a little longer than chocolate!! :-)

I think it would depend on your wedding colors. I love the Jelly Belly and it would be a departure from the common hershey kiss/M&M routine.....but some of those flavors are downright nasty!
If you do M&M's I wouldn't personalize them. Its outrageously expensive and it doesn't have any kind of a "wow" factor anymore since its been seen so many times. Your guests would rather have better food/bar/music than candy with your phrases.

I love jelly belly beans, only certain flavours of them though, some are nasty. I've gone off chocolate at the moment so I'd go with beans, it's something a little bit different.

I personally like Jelly Bellys better but you can get M&M's with sayings on them. Don't know the address but I'm sure you could search them.

If you have a color scheme for the wedding---and what wedding doesn't---pick your candy to match. There are lots of places to buy bulk candy/Jelly Beans, etc., that is sorted by color.
