Excess of coldness energy have inflamed the nerves at eye and ears. The Gall Bladder or Urinary Bladder Meridian have blockage above neck.
Instead of meds you should think of Alternatives.
There is no medicine for H/A OR MIGRAINE. Not only these but for almost all painful diseases like RA, Back ache, earache etc. Hence they become chronic.
Acidity, WORRY, sadness, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis, constipation, intestinal inflammation; drug side effects, stress, bad smell, TV & COMPUTER SOMETIMES,
Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy are their causes. None of them can be treated with medicine. Our 100% success in treating migraine &H/A confirms it.
Acupuncture is the best treatment.
I can treat it with naturopathy and YOG, but how can you manage pl see.
Pain killers don't treat the pain but we loose the sense of pain for some time; in that duration our body itself treats sometime and credit goes to meds.
These useless drugs have enormous power to create hazardous side effects like liver/kidney failure, ulcer, acidity adn lot others.
Avoid late sleeping if possible; worry, spicy foods, sour fruits, stale bakery foods and alcohole.
Sweet foods, COCOANUT WATER,sweet fruits, milk, rice, SPROUTS, SALADS and good sleep will help you if cough is not there.
But you try one herbal remedy- two drops of drumstick leaves' juice in opposite nostril if one side pains and both nostrils if full H/A will give you rescue. Betel leaf helps but it is very strong.
Pl search a painful point 3-6 mm behind your thumb nail and press it, H/A will disappear within 30 seconds!

If they help. But need to consider what is actually taking place here. What you have outlined are 3 of the symptoms of Migraine Syndrome (more than one symptom).
You are also revealing the cranial nerves being effected.
You will find rather evident soreness to pain at the base of the skull. Is where the inflammatory process arises. The greater the inflammation, the more of those nerves will be involved.. There are 12 of them. Pressure on the base of the skull will either increase or decrease the symptoms. So you will have a little better understanding of what I am saying. It will be found primarily on one side.
The entire scenario suggests a neck injury at some time in the past. Or an accumulation of many micro traumas.
If you press and find a notch in the eyebrow and it is tender to sore to pressure, you will have found a 4th nerve being involved. There is another notch in the cheek bone on the nasal side of the prominence. These notches are exits for nerves to the face. Indicating there are only 8 more that could become affected. Should the vagus nerve become involved, you will experience the nausea usually associated with Migraine Syndrome.
Since you experience the restriction of motion of the head only when experiencing this dilemma, would pretty well rule out encephalitis. That condition will not let up on the restricted motion. And would have other associated symptoms to reveal that particular problem.
Since the problem indicates a mild to moderate postural condition, may want to consider that also. This can be confirmed by checking to see if you have one shoulder higher than the other. As well as one of the hips.
Would recommend making a visit to a doctor of Chiropractic and begin treatments to reverse the existing condition and allow prevention of the continued experience of headaches.

I am floridagirl's sister...
She had intense headaches and ended up with double vision. She took over the counter pain meds, but they didn't help very much.
Within the last two weeks she has been diagnosed with: squamous cell nasopharengeal carcinoma, stage IV.
It is a very rare cancer and only happens in 2% of the population. It is very fast growing and very agressive. She is undergoing radiation and chemotherapy treatments.
Her prognosis is grim, to say the least, there is no recovery, just containment of the cancer.
It has affected her throat, nose, ear, head, brain...

This sounds like a sinus headache caused by sinus congestion. Sinus congestion is usually caused by allergies or chronic infection, abut some people also have a deviated septum, or other physical constriction that makes it difficult for sinuses to drain. Claritin-D and Mucinex might help..
