You can't and why would you want to? I admit that I want others to see things my way sometimes, but I don't want to "convince them". I want to help in "enlightening" them, but they need to learn it on their own. For that is the only way to truly learn. If I'm part of their learning process, that's great, but it doesn't mean I "convinced" them. I realize this is probably satire, but I still wanted to answer honestly. For there are those out there that think they can convince everyone else that their way is the right way. What they don't realize is that their way is only that -- their way. No two people forge the same path through life. Each one of us has to figure it out for ourselves, whether or not we come to similar conclusions in the end.

It depends upon the person. Some people will believe anything at all, so those people are not difficult to convince.

Others will only believe something if they feel it is right, so you have to appeal to their emotions. Others will only believe something if they are told to believe it, so you have to be authoritarian with them.

While others still will only believe something that is based in reason, so you will have to convince them with a compelling argument.

Good luck.

Why would you want to? This is like trying to control someone. You wouldn't want someone to do this to you so you should not try to do this to anyone else.

It is different if this person is someone you are just trying to get them to understand why you believe a certain way, but you shouldn't be trying to make them believe what you believe. Even Jesus doesn't do that. He gives us free will.

Just let them know what God has done in your life. Let the Holy Spirity guide you. Talk to them and tell him all of the wonders God has done with you and for you, and tell them of the bible and that they have a God who truly loves them and sent his son to save them.

If you trust in God and let him work through you, then anything is possible.

God Bless You

People believe what they believe not always the way you do.

Lead by example. If you want to convince anyone of anything, you have to believe it enough yourself to live it, joyfully.
If people are attracted to your joy, they are more likely to follow your lead.

Take a course in attitudes and persuasion. Or if you're a fundamentalist, give up because college isn't your thing.
