Has anyone tried to make money through the data entry websites? If so, does it work? How much do you make? What websites are legitimate? I'm keen to make money in my own time, but I don't want to get ripped off, everthing seems to have a start up fee, if anyone knows any good ones, let me know!!

Almost all of the data entry websites are scams. You should also never pay a fee to work from home job, if you are looking for a business that is a different story.

I do know of one data entry site but the waiting is 1-2 years long and the work is seasonal-plus this last year they cut down on their pay so its really not worth working for them anymore-! Because of the changes, I won't even bother to mention this company anymore.

There are other types of jobs that you may want to look into such as article submissions, phone work (order processing), or freelancing for data entry projects in your spare time.

Virtually all online data entry jobs are a scam. I make money online by filling out paid surveys and offers. It brings in around eight hundred dollars a month. Anyway if you want to try it there's a link to the websites I use on my profile.
Best wishes. :]

I don't know, but I'd say go with your gut. Personally, I don't think you should have to pay to work. You work to get paid so I'd be leary of the start up fee if it were me.
