I am getting married in a little over a year and need some help finding a location to hold my ceremony/reception. I would ultimatley like to find a place that does package deals where almost everything is included. Can someone help me?

We live in Mesa but would like to have it somewhere in the greater Phoenix area. If the place is in Glendale or Avondale and the price is right and they offer what I am looking for I don't mind the drive.

Lucky you! There are so many different event sites, and of course it will depend upon what city. Let us know what cities you are looking at, that will narrow it for us. Blessings, Chaplain Debby PS, on my website are a few event sites that I have used, take a look! I work in Arizona.

This would be a wonderful site for a wedding, I love the Grand Canyon. Personally I prefer the second one. However, depending on the time of year, the Grand Canyon gets pretty crowded. I would call the NPS and ask some questions. Are you going to have the pull off completely booked for you and closed off or are any park guests allowed to pull in? If you can't close off the pull out (which is probably the case I would assume) then I would ask the rangers which site is less popular. You wouldn't want a family running around with kids yelling and stuff at your wedding. One would think that people would have more courtesy than that (especially since I have found NP guests to be very courteous) but you never know. If I remember correctly Moran point is farther from the parking area for that site. That may be more desirable for you as well--do you want diesel engines idling in the background (as you might have at a closer to the parking area spot).

Scottsdale is absolutely beautiful. There are many places there to have a wedding reception with the mountains as the backdrop. Try some of the hotels in scottsdale. The westin in Keirland is pretty but I am not sure about space for a reception.

Another great resource for finding a venue is:

http://www.eventective.com/

You can enter in your location and it will return all of the venue locations for your area. It displays pictures and discriptions and you can also contact the venue via the website.

This site also searches for vendors the same way.

Where in Aizona? I can think of ideas for Phoenix, Tucson, Flagstaff, or Yuma without too much trouble.
