Youth Ministers, have an unnatural propensity to be around impressionable young people, usually driven by a feeling of inadequacy or pedophilia.

Good question. The psychologist has an overall healing as a goal but a youth pastor has a very limited 'relationship with god' thing as a goal. In many respects the minister (though well intentioned) can damage the youth by causing suppression of any problems the youth may have with the assertion that 'god' can handle it all.
