Probably not the answer you like, but the only truly sure thing is to drink less.

If you really want to keep drinking, then don't drink on an empty stomach, and drink lots and lots of water. Before, after and also drink a glass every now and then during the evening; the water helps flush the alcohol out of your system better than coffee or any of those other cures will.

I am in the same boat. I use to be able to drink all the time and be fine. Now I am such a lightweight at the age of 29. I notice whenever I am hungover the best remedy is to eat because your stomach is pretty much a bottomless pit and to sleep it off to get rid of the headache part. Also eating something and taking an aspirin before bed always helps. Good Luck!

I'm 25 too and its taking its toll

The first step is moderation and pacing. But we all have those crazy nights.

What you need to do when you get home, is drink as much water as you can. Hangovers are caused mainly by dehydration as alcohol is a dehydrator. Also, take a few pain killers like Tylenol or, in my case, ibuprofen. Keep pushing fluids till you go to bed or pass out. Do the same when you get up.

Dude, I'm 16 and it's starting to kick my ***, but I go out every weekend, last weekend was my only break, and I'm going to get out of that habbit now. But I got over having hangovers, so I just drink a heap of water and eat before I go to sleep. Because I don't like passing out either, I make sure I don't drink too much, but we all lose control sometimes. So yeah, just eat and drink water before you go to sleep. And the next morning, don't drink coke, drink water and a sport drink, it keeps you hydrated or something. And McDondalds helps a lot!

Since you're hung over because you're dehydrated and vitamins and minerals are depleated (I forget which ones exactly), drink a VAT of Ovaltine.

It's a fluid, and the sugars and nutritional value will help get your body right again.

Of course, taking it a bit easier on the alcohol is also an option.

Oh honey, I feel your pain.. what is becoming of us? ARen't we still considered "young?" The best thing for hangovers is coffee, dark and strong and bread.. I always go to IHOP or Denny's after a night out.. I get pancakes.. they help soak up the alcohol. I'd also suggest takin a few pain killers with your coffee to take the "thud thud thud" away from your ears... :)

Consider yourself lucky. I always get a hangover during drinking and so getting drunk has never been an option for me.
