Why this slogan? Air is full of nitrogen, but plants and animals can't use the nitrogen out of the air. Bacteria put nitrogen into the ground; plants use nitrogen out of the ground to make their compounds; animals get nitrogen by eating plants or eating something that ate plants. You take bacteria out of this process, and nothing can have any nitrogen.
